Riverdance – The 20th Anniversary World Tour

Departing from Chester Center promptly at 10:00 a.m. with pick-up available at our Evansville Branch location and Red Bud Branch location of 1320 W. Market Street.

We head to The Old Spaghetti Factory to eat as a group for lunch at 11:30 a.m. A meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory is an experience. Guests feel as though they’re stepping into another world based on the meticulous attention to the décor. The location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Choose from 3 menu selections-see additional sheet.

After lunch we travel to The Fabulous Fox Theatre at 1:00 p.m. to see Riverdance for the 2:00 p.m. show.

The international Irish dance phenomenon is back by popular demand in RIVERDANCE-the 20th Anniversary World Tour. Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of the performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures in an innovative and exciting blend of dance, music and song. Of all the performances to emerge from Ireland-in rock, music, theatre and film-nothing has carried the energy, the sensuality and the spectacle of Riverdance. 2 hour show with intermission. We will return home immediately after the performance.

Day 1-Depart from Chester Center @ 8:00 a.m. We arrive in Nashville at lunchtime stopping at Opry Mills for lunch on your own and Christmas shopping. Coupon books will be available at Guest Services. Opry Mills is Tennessee’s largest outlet retail shopping destination under one roof. They have over 200 stores, 11 restaurants, and a huge food court for lunch. Depart at 4:00 and head to Opryland Resort for check in. Evening meal on your own. Enjoy a Broadway Christmas Production at 8:00 p.m. as a group. Entertainment still to be determined for 2015 and is subject to change.

Day 2-ICE (an incredible holiday attraction), Delta River flatboat ride, Treasures for the Holidays at leisure today; FREE shuttle from resort to Opry Mills available. Breakfast and lunch on your own today. Christmas Dinner Show at 5:00 p.m. as a group in Hotel Ballroom-Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers (entertainment subject to change)

October Owl Prowl

We begin our journey for the day by departing from Chester Center at 8:30 a.m. (Parking available near the old Pizza Hut building) Additional pick up available at our Evansville and Red Bud (1320 W Market) locations.

First, we will visit the Butterfly House located in Chesterfield, MO which features the OWL butterfly in addition to 80 species and nearly 2,000 free flying tropical butterflies. Our visit will last about 1 hour so be sure to take time to enjoy the 17 minute original film The Butterfly Effect. Don’t miss the Butterflies of the World exhibit and visit the Madame Butterfly gift shop. We will take a group photo in front of the 28 foot Mysterious Monarch located outside.

Next, it’s on to Kimmswick, MO where we dine as a group at the BLUE OWL RESTAURANT for lunch. Famous for their Levee High Apple Pie, this cinnamony creation is just one of 20-plus varieties of pie available. Several choices of entrees are available on the Group Trio Menu including various soups, salads, sandwiches, and quiche combinations and of course, a piece of pie from the Award-Winning Bakery. Beverage, tax and gratuity also included.

After lunch enjoy the many gift shops and unique stores within the four block area in Kimmswick before we migrate home at 4:00 p.m.
