Digital Wallet Security FAQs

Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay

What happens if my phone is lost or stolen?
Your digital wallet can be disabled remotely in minutes. Once disabled, no payments can be made from that device.

How do I disable my digital wallet remotely?

Do I need to cancel my physical card if my phone is lost?
In most cases, no. Disabling the digital wallet does not require canceling your physical card.

Can someone use my digital wallet if they have my phone?
No. Payments require Face ID, fingerprint, or a secure passcode. Without that verification, payments cannot be made.

Is my card number stored on my phone or shared with stores?
No. Your actual card number is never shared with merchants and is not stored in a way that can be accessed.

Is using a digital wallet safer than using a physical card?
Yes. Digital wallets add biometric approval and keep your card number hidden, which physical cards cannot do.
